December, wat een tijd. Als er één van onze twaalf maanden is die een eindeloze keten van clichés is, dan is het wel december. Laat me ze oplijsten voor jullie: Sinterklaas, de Kerstboom opzetten na Sinterklaas, ballen ophangen, ballen breken, slingers, met moeite de juiste kerstcadeaus vinden, kerstlijstjes pas een week voor het feest binnenkrijgen, gezellig tafelen, vloeken op de geschenkjes die je niet deftig ingepakt krijgt, het oude jaar uitwuiven met voldoende/veel schuimwijn, en natuurlijk: de Amped-Up eindejaarslijst! Vooraleer wij ons in de talloze bacchanalen verliezen, kijken we terug op het jaar dat was en de muziek die we hebben mogen ontdekken. De ene plaat nog beter dan de andere, en die we vanuit ons machtspositie als redacteurs maar al te graag met jullie delen.
